Join us for a transformative 90-minute experience on April 19, where the healing power of sound and music will meet the restorative art of community-style acupuncture. At 4:00 PM, the music will begin, and you’ll be invited to take your seat as the healing journey unfolds.
During this time, David Santana (R.tcmp) will circulate through the group, checking pulses and selecting 5 to 10 acupuncture points to support your unique healing process. The acupuncture treatment will last around 30-40 minutes, with the option to leave or stay for the entire sound bath experience. This is a wonderful opportunity to relax, rejuvenate, and experience deep healing. Feel free to stay from 4:00 to 5:30 PM, or leave when you’re ready after your acupuncture session.

About Sean:
Sean Kiley is a musician and writer who explores and maps modes of sonic expression and altered states of awareness. Sean is currently pursuing his PhD in music and psychology under the guidance of Dr. Anthony Tan at the University of Victoria. Sean’s work in therapeutic sound transformation is informed by his own journey and findings, as well as the work of Rick Ellis. As a practitioner, he has frequently collaborated with Island Ayurveda’s Manjinder Benning on Vedic somatic breathwork and sound bath sessions.
About David:
David Santana is a registered acupuncturist, TCM herbalist, and professional jazz musician. He runs a busy practice in downtown Victoria and teaches at Pacific Rim College’s School of Chinese Medicine. Guided by Yin-Yang, Five Element, and Zang Fu theory he uses acupuncture, herbal medicine, and lifestyle shifts to restore flow and ease discomfort. Among the most frequent complaints at his clinic, he works with pain, stress, insomnia, fertility issues and digestive health.
