Sports Acupuncture & Performance Recovery

Move Better. Recover Faster. Perform Stronger.

Whether you’re training for your first 5K, preparing for an ultramarathon, recovering from a race, or simply looking to stay active and pain-free, my Sports Acupuncture and Therapeutic Massage treatments are designed to help you perform at your best—physically and mentally.

As a Registered Acupuncturist, orthopedic practitioner, and ultrarunner, I understand the physical and psychological demands that training and competition place on the body. My treatments combine Traditional Chinese Medicine with modern orthopedic assessment to support athletes through every stage of their journey, helping them recover, build resilience, and approach each challenge with confidence.

Before Training or Competition

Prepare your body and mind to perform at your highest potential by:

  • Optimizing mobility and flexibility
  • Reducing muscle tension and stiffness
  • Improving circulation and tissue oxygenation
  • Supporting efficient movement and injury prevention
  • Promoting a calm, focused, and confident mindset before training or competition
  • Helping regulate pre-event stress and performance anxiety
  • Encouraging mental clarity and emotional balance so you can perform with greater confidence

During a Training Program

Consistent training requires both physical resilience and mental endurance. Regular treatments can help you stay on track by:

  • Addressing minor aches and pains before they become injuries
  • Supporting recovery between workouts
  • Improving muscle balance and joint function
  • Managing fatigue and accumulated training stress
  • Helping your body adapt to increasing training loads
  • Supporting stress management and mental resilience during demanding training cycles
  • Encouraging better sleep and overall recovery, allowing both body and mind to recharge

Injury Recovery

Recovering from an injury is not only about healing the body, it is also about rebuilding confidence.

Treatment may help with:

  • Reduce stress and frustration that often accompany injury
  • Support a positive mindset throughout the rehabilitation process
  • Help you return to your sport feeling both physically prepared and mentally confident
