Craniosacral Therapy
What Happens During Craniosacral Treatment?
During a Craniosacral Therapy session with Annette at Errant Empire, you’ll lie fully clothed on a comfortable massage table in a quiet, peaceful setting. Annette uses an extremely gentle, non-invasive touch—typically no more pressure than the weight of a nickel—to assess and release restrictions in the craniosacral system. This system includes the membranes and fluid surrounding your brain and spinal cord.
She may gently hold areas around the head, spine, sacrum, or feet, allowing your body to self-correct and release deep tension. Many people find the experience to be profoundly relaxing, sometimes entering a meditative or dream-like state as the body unwinds.
What Is It Good For?
Craniosacral Therapy supports your body’s natural ability to heal and regulate itself. Sessions with Annette are especially helpful for:

Chronic pain and tension (e.g., neck, back, or jaw issues)
-
Migraines and headaches
-
Stress and anxiety
-
Nervous system regulation
-
Insomnia or sleep disturbances
-
Trauma recovery (physical or emotional)
-
TMJ dysfunction
-

Annette’s work addresses healing on a subtle yet profound level—creating shifts physically, emotionally, and energetically to help restore balance throughout your system.

When Coming to a Craniosacral Treatment
When you come for a Craniosacral Therapy session with Annette, it’s best to wear loose, comfortable clothing and allow a little time to arrive unhurried. You’ll be lying down for most of the session in a quiet, supportive environment, designed to promote deep relaxation. Annette’s touch is light, gentle, and mindful—there’s no forceful manipulation or discomfort.
Many clients leave feeling lighter, more grounded, and at ease. You may notice subtle or profound shifts over the following days as your system continues to integrate the work. We encourage you to honor your body’s needs with hydration, rest, and reflection following your session.
Fee Schedule and Cancellation Policy
Your appointment time is reserved just for you. A late cancellation or missed visit leaves a hole in the practitioner’s day that could have been filled by another patient. As such, we require 24 hours notice for any cancellations or changes to your appointment. Patients who provide less than 24 hours notice, or miss their appointment, will be charged a cancellation fee to the card on file.
